Haven't been doing much posting recently as you can see. I've been spending my time working through Myst 3: Exile, the 3rd installment of the Myst/Riven series. I've been a big fan of this series for a long time, it's about the only gaming I do. I am always in awe of the fabulous graphics and intricate detail in these games. The puzzles are always ingenious too and usually means a cheat here and there to get through them. But it's great fun and a good way to waste time.
Not to spread any more paranoia than there already is, but there's an interesting site at www.ready.gov with instructions on what to do in case of various types of terrorist attacks. It smacks of '50's cold war propoganda but I'm afraid that if the sirens go off now, hiding under your desk with a textbook on your head is not going to cut it.
For anyone interested, the photo retouch project is done. It worked out OK and the results can be seen here.
