Over the weekend we had a minor problem with the Blogger. As I was adjusting elements of the page it all of a sudden started acting goofy and essentially crashed. I could post messages but they would not show up on the home page, only in the archives. So to fix the problem I have had to resort to designing a whole new web page and as you can see it has a bit of a different look. The downside of it is that all the old post archives are not available from this site. However, I don't think anybody will be too excited about not being able to read what I wrote last January so it's not much of a loss. All the usual links are here, in a somewhat neater package and the archives are now indexed on a page of their own which you can link to at the bottom left. The good news is that Part 3 of Road to Kenya is done and has been linked. So go to the Kenya title page to read that account and see some of the pictures. With working on trying to fix the blog over the weekend I haven't had much time for anything else but I have started a project to restore a photograph that a friend gave me that he wants to post on his site. The photo has suffered some damage and I am going to attempt to "doctor" it up. Click here to see the original and the damage accross the bottom. I'm going to attempt to repair that. So stay tuned and I'll show you the results of that experiment.
