Here's a story about the opening of an Ikea store in, of all places, Edmonton, north London, where everyone was so mad for the minimalistic Swedish furniture that a riot broke out with people fighting over cheap sofas to the point where the injured had to be carted away in ambulances. I'm not real big on Ikea furniture. The last time I was in the Ikea Maze here in our Edmonton I got lost and couldn't find the way out unless I bought something.
