Blogmania

I have been seriously considering revamping the website of late, especially after perusing a few blogs on the net. There's some pretty spiffy pages out there that put this one to shame, but on the other hand you have to remember that a lot of these people don't have lives and spend all day surfing the net and relaying info on their blogs. In fact, a friend of mine was actually posting to his blog directly from a conference in Vancouver on weblogging! Apparently there are people around who claim to be "professional bloggers", whatever that may entail, I don't know if there is money to be made in blogging, but I'll bet someone has figured out a way to do it. I guess with the plethora of information out there these days it requires individuals like these to take it upon themselves to organize and disseminate said information over and over again in a sort of cyber-regurgitative fashion. The blogging craze has blossomed to include audio and video posting and something called Podcasting (whatever that is). With all the other things going on at home these days, including weddings, work and my newfound foray into the world of video editing, I sometimes find submitting posts less than a week apart difficult as loyal readers can attest. So, as for revamping the site, well, that may be a while down the road. In the meantime I shall endeavor to keep the world up to speed on my activities as best I can no matter how feeble the attempt.
Sandi has flown down to Quebec City for the week to visit friends she met there last year during her course. Meanwhile Angie and Lee are gearing up wedding planning. Last night they had a work bee putting invitations together and there is a growing mountain of wedding related material in the living room. For my part the video is coming along nicely.
