New Pictures

Over to the left I have cleaned up the picture galleries a bit and removed the stale items. There are a few pictures there now of our vow renewal from last week. Today I parked the truck in the backyard over the fire pit for the winter. I took the battery out so that means we can't use the truck until spring. I just didn't want it on the street all winter when it never gets used. It will only get plowed under the snow banks. I also managed to fix the door on the stove which has needed a new hinge for some time. Now the door closes tightly and the light doesn't stay on all the time.
Tomorrow they are predicting snow here so we are all keeping our fingers crossed so that it doesn't happen. We have been lucky so far this fall and each day that passes without snow is one snow-free day closer to spring.
Last night I rented the movie "Transformers" because everyone has been telling me how good it was. Lee and Angela came over for supper and afterwards we watched the movie with the audio cranked to a near ear bleeding level. It was GREAT!! I hadn't known what to expect, so I was pleasantly surprised that is was done so well for a movie spawned from a line of kid's toys. I think it's worth watching again.
We were talking to Sandi on Skype last night and she was proudly showing off her new video camera which had just arrived. After the order had been canceled on her she went ahead and ordered another one which came the other day. She is quite pleased with the speed of it's arrival and is now busy studying the manual to learn how to operate it in time for her trip to Seoul, Korea at the end of the month. It's a Panasonic camera, similar to mine, only it shoots in HD and stores the footage on flash memory cards instead of tape.
