Winter Wonderland
Winter is finally upon us in the "frozen north". After escaping mostly unscathed for most of November, we have been thrown into the throes of winter with a vengeance. We have had cold temperatures for the last few days and yesterday we got our second dump of snow which wreaked havoc on the roads today. The snow kept coming for a while this morning and driving around town became a challenge as all the intersections began to ice up. Well, I guess we shouldn't be surprised as it is, after all, Alberta and this is to be expected. But it never fails to be a shock. Nikki and Christopher just returned home from a trip to India and England where they did some ministering. We haven't gotten the full report yet but we will soon find out how they faired on their first trip abroad. And speaking of traveling, Sandi was in Korea for a few days last month. She and a friend took advantage of some time off and being in the neighborhood to take a little trip to Seoul Korea and from there a bus tour of north Korea. Sandi said it was a very interesting trip and had some of her video deleted because she was taking pictures of a few things not allowed, I guess they are very strict over there about what is and isn't seen. I am just putting the finishing touches on our latest wedding video project which we shot back in September. About time too. It's starting to get quite busy here with all the preparations for Christmas. I have to get cracking on the annual installment of the Christmas Chronicle.
